Education / Luncheon Series
The Western District FBA plans and sponsors a series of monthly presentations on issues of interest to the local bar. The sessions run from Noon to approximately 1:30 P.M. and are held at the jury assembly room on the 2nd floor of the Federal Court building at 110 Michigan Street SW in Grand Rapids. The cost is $10.00 and includes a sandwich lunch.
Recent topics have included a demonstration by Hon. David W McKeague of the evidence cart purchased jointly by the Western District court and the FBA, a panel presentation on prisonersŐ civil rights litigation, and a primer on effective advocacy by 6th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Jeffery S. Sutton.
